To log your labor hours in Marty 5, use the link next to your name in the main navigation bar.
The Time Sheets Page is a Formset
See the "Formsets" portion of this page for details on how to work with formsets in Marty 5.
The page linked above also contains general information about working with forms in Marty. That information applies to time sheets as well.
Go to the Appropriate Date
Use the date field in the filter bar to choose which date to fill out. You can also navigate to different dates using the left and right arrow buttons.
If you have entered hours for one date and are switching to another date, be sure to click "save". Switching to another date without saving will result in the loss of the first date's hours.
Enter the Operation and Hours
Three fields are required: Op ID, Operation, and Hours. Op ID is simply the number representation of the Operation. If you select an Operation by name, the Op ID will be filled out automatically to match. Similarly, if you select an Op ID, the Operation will change accordingly.
Additionally, you may link your labor operation to a certain document, fill out the Quantity (Qty) field (how many parts did you test, for instance ), or add a note in the status field.
Entering Hours for a Specific Document?
You can easily add multiple operation/hour entries for a single document (without having to select the document on each and every form) by first navigating to the document's details page. Click on "update labor times" to go to a formset that is much like the normal time sheet entry page. However, any times entered this way will be linked to the document.
Weekly View
You can view all of your entered times by week by clicking on the Weekly View button in the filter bar. You can then navigate to a specific day to enter labor times for that day by clicking on the header column. At the weekly view, you can also navigate between weeks using the buttons in the filter bar.
